The Tasmania Chapter are currently reviewing the Draft Constitution, after it was resolved at the AGM on 10 October 2010 to adopt the draft, subject to review and then formal acceptance at a later meeting..

The Constitution, if accepted, will allow Tasmania to operate as a Chapter with Branches of that Chapter operating within each of the three telephone districts. These Branches operate as Chapters, in all ways except that they ultimately answer to the MMAA Tas Chapter executive.

The three Branches envisaged will be Southern Tas (62 area), Northern Tas (63 area), and North-Western Tas (64 area). Members of a Branch may take part in the activities of other Branches, but not have any say in the running of that Branch. Members will only be allowed to belong to a single Branch.
